Rei: I got an email from Netflix today about a new show. 'When everyone else mysteriously vanishes from their wealthy town, the teen residents of West Ham must forge their own society to survive.' Sounds like it might be your jam.
Riona: I was about to say 'if it's not High School Musical: The Musical, I'm not interested,' but actually that does ( Read more... )

Let's get philosophical with Nagito Komaeda nadramon June 20 2019, 09:44:40 UTC
Hi Riona! Wow, I haven't used lj in forever, I missed it.

To be fair, at first the characters from Lord of the Flies did try to construct a functional society and to prevent it from falling apart while waiting for rescue, it just...didn't work at all. I think trying to impose limitations like that would be underestimating the power of hope, although of course my opinion is only worth so much.

I can't say what the outcome of a game between the Ultimate Hopes would be, but I've no doubt it would be beautiful to witness. If I could have the privilege of seeing such a thing, I...

(heavy breathing)

I suppose we'd need more Ultimate Hopes, of course! The killing games that have already been held seem to have created or uncovered the potential for hope in people, so perhaps holding more killing games would result in more Ultimate Hopes, and when we had enough we could hold a final game to see the true brightness of the collision of their hope ( ... )

(Aaaand now I'm terrified. XD I really shouldn't encourage him, but hey, that would make a semi-plausible explanation for Komaeda to meet the V3 cast. I am so sorry, V3 cast ( ... )

Wouldn't know. I've never eaten chalk. You've never seen me eat chalk. That's what you're gonna tell the teacher, right?
