Stop Involuntarily Accepting All The Kittens, David Mitchell.

The boiler is now functional! On the one hand, when the sitting room was the only warm room in the house, my subconscious was making up for the discomfort of sleeping on sofa cushions by giving me awesome dreams in which I hung out with Robert Webb and David Mitchell and the former gave me a piggyback ride and the latter accidentally adopted seven ( Read more... )

british comedians, supernatural, homestuck, mitchell and/or webb, we all love hearing about dreams right?, weird pairings, merlin, bradley james and his ridiculous face, real life (there's a rarity), university

I LOVE MS PAINT ADVENTURES.

I have it open in a tab which I check on every day. xD I love that lots of ridiculous audience ideas are drawn, yet the story still follows a clear plotline. So very awesoooome.

I can't believe the amount of effort that must go into it! And I really wasn't expecting to become as attached to the characters as I have. John is a sweetheart and Jade is adorable and Dave is ridiculous and Rose has awesomely barged straight into my heart.

Good luck with the degree! I'm sure you can get it done!

And your dreams sound awesome. I want your dreams.

Yay for not freezing to death!

Thank you! I certainly hope so.

Well, you've had some rather awesome dreams yourself, if I recall correctly.

Yours sound more fun. Mine are nearly all at least moderately worrying, and lack in Ruby.

SO, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION EVER, ROSE/DAVE AND JADE/JOHN OR ROSE/JOHN AND JADE/DAVE???

(or... or dave/john and rose/jade.)

(or 'they don't have to be automatically paired off, honestly'.)

(or jack noir/john and nannasprite/rose.)

I... actually have not been 'shipping anyone in Homestuck (apart from Dave/Lil' Cal, obviously). But I shall muse on the subject and inform you if any pairing particularly strikes me!

*cheers* I'm sure you can write 22,000 words on something! The key is to pick a subject you're enthusiastic about and can find enough sources for.

And dreams that involve kittens are ALWAYS win. And if only Supernatural involved more Sam-Dean-Ruby banter.

Thank you! It's actually spread over four essays (one eight thousand words, one six thousand, two four thousand), which in a way makes things easier. (In another, of course, it makes it much more difficult, because I have to research four different topics, but at least there's not such a danger of running out of things to say.) I already know that the eight-thousand-word one is going to be on sentence structure in book blurbs and one of the four-thousand-word ones is going to be on Jane Austen's cads, so I can get to work on those whilst I'm looking for ideas for the other two.

The Sam-Dean-Ruby trio was fun. I wish it had been around for longer.

Oh, Jane Austen's cads! Sounds like fun! And the book blurbs one could be interesting. (yes, I'm more of a literature person than a linguistics person, it shows). Good luck finding interesting topics for the other two.

It's Ghostbusters II, if that's any more forgivable?
