Oh, Agent Mahone, Why So Serious?

Aug 02, 2008 21:41

Well, I'll say this about The Dark Knight: it knows how to make me take notice within the first minute. WHY HELLO THERE, AGENT MAHONE. Clearly this is a Mahone driven mad by the Scofield investigation. "CRIMINALS USED TO BELIEVE IN THINGS ( Read more... )

Why does this have an "early warning signs of obsession" tag? I think the obsession is already in full swing.

...yeah, fair point. If I've already written a 12,000-word Supernatural/Prison Break crossover and am too afraid of spoilery reviews to post it, we're probably well past the 'early warning' stage.

*sigh* I never get to obsess about things to you. It's tragic. There's...no chance you're going to see Wicked at any point in the next few weeks, is there?

Not that I know of, but because I appreciate your many years of suffering my fan-rambling you are very welcome to talk at me about it anyway.

We will talk about TDK sometime. Yes.

For further themes of familial love, check out The Boondock Saints. Ridiculously stupid film with shocking amounts of swearing (even to me!) and lots and lots of violence. Very popular with fangirls. Lots of Japanese art. By which I mean, incest.

I look forward to Dark Knight talkings!

INCEST IS NOT THE SORT OF FAMILIAL LOVE I MEAN. Oh, hang on, you don't mean canonical incest. Right. I shall consider it!

"That voice? Yeah. I really can't take you seriously."

How can you NOT take Batman's constant angst? I mean, he only spends his time dressing up as a giant bat to work out his issues!

Man, superheroes are always vaguely hilarious. Spider-Man is my favourite. HE IS SO FULL OF ANGST.

You mean he is full of suspicious white sticky fluid. I'M JUST SAYING, he's saving the day because he shoot sticky white fluid from his arm, it has to come from somewhere.

It is the physical manifestation of his angst. Get your mind out of the gutter and into Sparkly Superhero Angst Land.

The Joker didn't terrify me. He really should have. But I was too busy wanting him in my pants UM GOSSIPING WITH FRIENDS WHO WENT WITH ME. YES. NOT ABOUT HOTNESS ON THE SCREEN. OR ANYTHING OF THAT SORT.

A friend of mine used to like Prison Break and said I probably would, but I can't get over the fact that for the longest time all I could think was "THAT LOOKS STUPID. IT LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE A MOVIE INSTEAD." But then I used to have an unfounded hatred of SPN as well, so...hmm. I will have to meditate on this.

...yeah, so maybe there was something weirdly attractive about the Joker.

Prison Break has loving dysfunctional do-anything-to-save-you brothers! And Fernando 'Most Adorable Felon In The Entire World' Sucre! What more do you need?

AHAHAHA. You are evil, but brilliantly so.

YES. AND IT'S ALSO PERFECTLY NORMAL TO HAVE FREAKED OUT WHEN HE WAS IN NURSE DRAG!

...right?

I LOVE BROTHERS LIKE THAT. It's why I get obsessive about The Outsiders/Narnia/Supernatural etc. etc. It's gotta be some weird psychological thing about me being a girl and not having two brothers. Or something. I really don't know but it's nice to know there are fandoms that support me.
It might also help if I thought the main guy was hot, because said friend thinks he is but I do not. And she sort of gave up on it about halfway through and that distresses me.

Pfft I'd totally do it. If that makes me brilliantly evil, than so be it, and I will take that as a compliment in any case so thank you!

BATMANNNN

He has quickly become my favourite superhero. HE HAS WINGS AND VARIOUS ISSUES AND A STUPID VOICE-DISGUISE, and and and okay I find the Joker rly hot. Also, despite not liking Bruce Wayne, I find Batman quite hot too OH GOD I AM WRONG IN THE BRAIN

I think finding the Joker hot is probably more deserving of embarrassed tiny text, but fear not; you are not alone.

Shhh, it totally is not.

Okay, I have a weakness for ostentatious evils in suits and/or make-up. WIN WIN, JOKER. BE MORE PSYCHOPATHIC PLZ
