Oh my goodness! This was so lovely, so satisfying, so hot... just fabulous. I loved the mystery and how Veronica's stalker brought out all the yummy protectiveness in Logan. And I just loved, loved, loved the strong sense of place in this story, Medill School of Journalism, the Rosebud, the lake and dinner boat ride, were great details that really brought the story to life.

But my favorite part? Strumpet! What a fantastic word! Must. Have. Sequel. :)

I love Chicago, and I've wanted to use it as a setting for so very long. Honestly, though, this was in part inspired by your wonderful fic - I forgot how much fun it is to write a story with a mystery and a plot. So, really, I should thank you twice - for the fabulous feedback, and for the inspiration, too.

I loved the plot and the smut! I'm glad Logan knows her so well that he planned extra days and to look her up, just in case she was avoiding him as usual! I'm also glad that Logan just kissed Parker (or Parker kissed him) and he didn't actually cheat on Veronica since that threw me off for a second!

Oh, thank you so much, honey. I have to tell you, every time I write something that features a backstory with either Logan or Veronica having been in another relationship, I hear your voice in my head, reminding me how devastating cheating can be. LOL. Don't worry, I think I've learned my lesson with these two.

Thanks for reading and the great feedback.

Amazing writing. You take a story and add such credibility to it with paragraphs like this: On his second circuit of the perimeter, Logan had spotted the guy; today, he looked decidedly more upscale, in an Eddie Bauer down jacket, black, and heavy-weight camo chinos. The drastic change in gear and appearance did more to convince Logan the dude was bad news than anything the guy had actually done so far.

All of the research, information and personal insight you weaved into this story makes it come to life when I read it. In addition, you add witty dialogue, intriguing action and believable characters.

Thank you for writing for us.

Am I blushing? Thank you so very much, darlin', for all the kind words and encouragement. I won't lie, I think this is one of the best things I've written - maybe ever. I guess it's true, what they say ... about writing what you know. ;D

That was amazing. Characterisation was excellent and not once did I want to turn away. Futurefic like this one are my favourite, so I always love it when one pops up every now and again.

The details of the gang were put together well - if only I could do that with my own fic and just maybe I'd be able to get the ball rolling.

You can do it - honestly. Just start - actually, you already have a start, so just keep writing. Don't worry if it takes a while, and, I'll be around if you need a beta.

Thanks for reading, and for your wonderful comments. I'm glad it was an absorbing and interesting read.

Flinging the quilt off his lap, he stood, unabashed despite the obvious evidence of his hard-on straining the cotton of his black boxer-briefs. “Just give me a minute to put on my jeans.”

Haha. Oh I love that. I love that the first thing he thought when he woke up was Veronica in the shower, there's something so sweetly sexy about that.

It's great to see Logan take such an investigative role too, the way he's putting things together, he's protecting her. Makes my heart all a flutter!

I love the descriptions of what she wears, the two dollar wine glasses, the best descriptions come on their night together on the boat. So, so beautiful.

On the elevator, she giggled, blew softly in his ear, all warm and cuddly-soft on his chest. Something about this sentence, I just love it so much. It's so playful ( ... )

Hiya! God, I love your comments - you're too good to me.

Much as I like to write smut, I'm a big fan of those little moments that imply things, like a glance, eyes meeting, the thought of what's in the other room. So, I'm glad you liked Logan getting excited thinking about Veronica in the shower.

It's great to see Logan take such an investigative role too, the way he's putting things together, he's protecting her. - it was a kick to turn the table and have Logan do the investigating for a change. LOL

I'm a little confused why Logan went so down hill so suddenly after their summer together. Maybe because Veronica was getting skittish and he knew it? In my head, Veronica wanted to avoid the issue of their future, that is, hers and Logan's, so she siezed upon his drunken kiss w/ Parker to run away - to Stanford. I'm not sure Logan did anything particularly wrong, other than kissing Parker, of course, but Veronica never needs much of an excuse to break it off and flee. Logan graduated and went on to get his Masters in ( ... )
