I am here. Alive and well and sleepy. But that's to be expected sleeping on the floor.

1) Apartment. Should be ready by this weekend, in time for me to move and have my very own bed and my kitties back. I have missed them. The apartment is smaller than I'd like. Liveable though. Definitely. Bigger than the bedroom I was living in in Bellingham.

Totally OT to your post:
Did you write a first-person Vera fic? Or a first-person one of Jayne's weapon fic? A person on my f-list is looking for a story that I thought might exist, although I can't for the life of me remember the title of said story. But this morning I feel like maybe you wrote something along those lines? Am I totally cracked out?

Also: Cysts = yuck. They can be so huge! It's insane!

And of course, I'm not going to be around this weekend. What with moving things and all! I will be peeking in and out from my parents and then when I get back to Seattle.

Update on the apartment looks like I wont be able to move in until Tuesday. So I'll have to go back to Bellingham mid-week to get the kitties and....*sigh*

In regards to the ick part: Why did the person wait so long to get it checked out?! It's a little mind-boggling.

Also, the whole point of this weekend was that I got to see you before you moved for reals. And I didn't. Breakfast was dumb anyway. We drove all the way out to Sumas to have a Bob's Burgers and Brew Sunday brunch buffet, like the one that they have at all the other Bobs' in town.

I take it from m&d that your appartment still isn't ready so I assume that you'll be back for at least a bit this coming weekend. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry, it's not my fault.

Mom made plans without even asking me first. And I had Garrett with me. There was no way I was going to subject him to breakfast more than an hour out of our way when we had to load up my truck and drive 2 hours back to Seattle.

As things stand right now, yes, I'll probably be back in town this weekend, but not for more than a day.

Of course, I may not. I might drive up on Thursday or Friday and just get the cats and drive home again. Plans aren't finalized.

What did you have in mind?

Well, I'm not blaming you, but it would have been nice to know that you weren't going to be there before I went.

And I don't know about doing anything, but it would have been nice to see you for a bit since I probably won't see you after you move until the trip. So I don't know.
