It is a new month and I am determined it shall be a better one.

I have an apartment. It's small-ish, $100 more a month than I wanted. But it is MINE. I have a new, fast, brand spanking new computer. With internet access.

All that is left is the return of my muse and I'm a happy girl.

Any ideas people?

Unless you're new to my journal, you know I've moved. It has been a long headachy ordeal.

I started work in Seattle on 8/21 and it is now 9/3 and I just moved in today. There has been much headache and difficutlies involved in getting the place ready, where I'm gonna stay in the interim and multiple trips back to Bellingham for stuff and closing ( Read more... )

I am here. Alive and well and sleepy. But that's to be expected sleeping on the floor.

1) Apartment. Should be ready by this weekend, in time for me to move and have my very own bed and my kitties back. I have missed them. The apartment is smaller than I'd like. Liveable though. Definitely. Bigger than the bedroom I was living in in Bellingham. ( Read more... )

As things stand at this juncture:

Saturday:  BBQ at my parents house and finish the last of my packing (dishes and clothes currently in use)
Sunday: Driving to Seattle to stay with Garrett, Emily and Rene in their two bedroom ONE BATHROOM apartment for the first week.
Monday: First day of work at the new job.

1) I am at my last day of work.

And then I'm off until next Monday, when I start my new job. In between which, I'll be frantically packing or (most likely) procrastinating on packing. I'm very good at that.
