Observation about a florist shop

In my mind, when I think florist, I think aromatic flowers.

My local florist feels differently and only stocks fake, silk flowers.

I feel this is a violation of the trust I place in my local florist, that she will provide me with pretty, real flowers and not fake ones.

We have places here that sell silk, fake flowers.
They are called "craft stores."

You are right to mistrust the flowerless florist.

Maybe I should tell them to change their name. They'd probably be offended. ;)

Um, yeah... a florist who doesn't sell flowers? That is odd. Silk, and wire do not replace the real thing in any way.

It is odd. I kept looking under the tables thinking they might have hidden the real flowers. It was disturbing.
