Great Dean/Jo video! I loved the editing and the song really fit with the mood you were creating.

the second Kripke et al declare that Jo will only be a lil' sis to the boys, I suddenly get all fangirly for the pairing.

I was already fangirly, but that only fueled it :D

Thanks...I'm flattered you'd want me to play with your song. I've never done a request, but upload the song and I'll see. But a caveat: I have to love the song to be compelled to put in the time to do an mvid.

You know, I've been more into the idea of Dean/Jo since they nixed it on the show also. I do like the fact that she's run off hunting by herself though.

I haven't read much Dean/Jo fic though and I don't know if I'll ever write it myself. Not sure about why that is.

There's some choice Dean/Jo fic out there that capitalizes on Jo hunting by herself and (by default) growing up a hell of a lot. Which is what I think made me ship Dean and Jo after BUaBS. Jo had clearly done some aging...and if she didn't then, she sure as hell will have now.

Re: Dean/Jo. That vid made me all sentimental for them. But you know my feelings on Jo overall. Hated her, but I like her more now b/c I think she is growing up. I think in a few years (as if the show would be on that long), after hunting alone and growing up a bit more, she would be good for Dean. For now she's just too young and inexperienced and awe-struck on "hunters" and Dean's such an old soul so it's a bit odd for them.

I'm actually working on a Jo fic atm for the roadhouse challenge, and reading her journal has gotten me to like her a lot more too. She is really quite *cute*: http://supernatural.oscillating.net/index.php?title=Jo

Ack! I'm writing a fic for the challenge, too...and I'm SO behind. I don't even know if I can get it done by today. Sunday was too beautiful to be inside writing. Sigh... Jo's journal has helped me, too, if for nothing else other than dates (her age, when Bill died, etc...)

Glad you liked the vids...they were fun, if not a bit consuming. I agree -- Jo has aged on the road, outside of Ellen's protective barriers. Making her better for Dean. But no...not perfect. Not yet, maybe not ever. Still, I like her more now and can get behind them in a "there's no one else on the canvass for Dean right now anyway" way. Other than Sam. And I don't go there. As my icon indicates. ;)

Like you, I'm so behind on my own Jo fic...um...I am a dork. I'm actually already late for the spn_outsider pov challenge. That was a Cassie fic. I just went on this crazy urge to write fic for the women in Dean's life. So I chose the two that I hated and went for it. Now I sort of like both of them...yeah that happens.:P

I've read that fic, and agree -- gorgeous. And the threesome doesn't squick me. The Wincest does...but sometimes i can ignore it for the greater good. I can't deny that there's well written Wincest, or that they can create believable situations. But I'm an only child, so any sibling relationship, incestuous or not, is a mystery to me. So maybe I'm trying to be particularly guarded against it since I don't have any sure footing on which to judge the actual squick factor. Or I'm talking out my ass
