It's a present for both of you, for Rei-chan it's late again in this year but at least I could congratulate you this time on your real birthday date xd
''Ryuji!'' a long haired woman exclaimed as she ran toward her lover who just fell on the floor.
''You shouldn't get up!'' she said and helped him to return to his bed.
She covered him tenderly in a blanket and placed a wet cloth on his forehead. The man smiled as he noticed his lover's sparkling eyes.
''Don't cry, Yuka-chan.'' he caressed her cheek. ''How can I not cry? You're dying eventually, what am I supposed to do?''
''Smile. I want that to be my last memory.''
''Ryuji…''
The man was sick. He caught a rare illness while he was traveling overseas. Vermin inside him were eating him alive day by day. And by each day, he got weaker.
''Ryuji, I made breakfast for you.'' Yuka walked inside Ryuji's room.
''I don't want to eat.'' he responded and Yuka placed a tray with breakfast on a table near Ryuji's bed. ''Yuka…'' he said weakly.
''What, Ryuji?'' she asked while squatting down and took a hold of his hand. ''Yuka-chan, I really love you.''
''Ryu…''
''No matter what will happen, I promise you that we'll be together again.'' he said with a weak smile.
''I love you.'' he said again before closing his eyes.
Tears started to drop on the floor from Yuka's face. ''I love you, too'' she whispered.
''What happened then?'' a little boy looked curious at his grandfather who was telling him the story.
''The girl committed a suicide.''
''Eeeh~ why?'' the little boy seemed to be confused.
''Love caused her, so my little Yuri. If you fall in love don't do anything stupid, okay?''
''Hai, oji-chan! Ne, oji-chan, what did Ryuji mean by saying they will be together again?''
''I don't know. Maybe he wanted to say that they will meet in heaven once they both have died.'' ''Naruhodou…''
''Now, it's time to sleep!'' the boy's grandfather said and the little boy snuggled inside blanket on his bed.
''Oyasumi, oji-chan.'' he said.
''Oyasuminasai, Yuri.'' the boy's grandfather kissed him on the forehead and then switched off the lights.
13 years later
A handsome looking guy with brown hair was walking toward school in a uniform and with a girl crowd chasing him. They were whispering behind at how cool and good looking he was.
"Yamada-kun, ohayou." couple of girls greeted him as they were passing by. "Ohayou." he responded with a wink.
"Kyaa!" girls blushed. Yamada only smirked as he continued his way to school.
He made his steps in a corridor reaching a board that was surrounded by students.
"Mouu." he heard a boy saying.
He looked at his left and noticed a bit shorter than him boy with a black hair standing on his toes, trying to see forward. He didn't know why but he smiled. Then turned to look forward too. People that were taller than them were covering the view before them with their heads. Yamada frowned slightly as he went on his toes too. He looked at a list where was written in which class students are in this year. As he was able to see his class, he turned around and walked away from the crowd
After classes Yamada was going to his locker to change his shoes. As he reached the room with lockers, he spotted a guy leaning on his locker and talked to another guy.
"Out of my way." he said as he pushed the guy away.
Once he touched him, his heart started pounding. He pulled his hand away and looked at the boy, with shocked eyes. It was the same short boy, he saw earlier in the lobby. The boy just looked at Yamada saying nothing.
"You could just ask nicely to move." the another guy said irritated.
"Shut up!" Yamada responded rudely to him and turned to dial password numbers on his lock.
He hated whenever a guy talks to him. He hates those creatures the most in this world, even thought he is one of them. He always gets disgusted by seeing one of them.
"What the heck was that?" he thought to himself.
He didn't notice but his face was red. He shook his head to shake off all the thoughts and opened the locker. Inside it were a lot of love letters that dropped on the ground. He only sighed as he changed his shoes. After closing his locker, he glared at the short boy and walked away pretending that nothing happened. As well he left all the letters laying on the ground.
"What's wrong with him?" the tall boy who argued slightly with the brown haired boy wondered.
The latter boy only shrugged his shoulders.
"What happened to me? Why my heart throb for a moment?" Yamada looked at his hand, the one with he touched the shorter boy, and remembered the scene. He shook his head once more telling himself it was nothing and that he was still too sleepy due to lack of sleep he didn't get last night.
The boys Yamada met earlier were walking to their houses. The taller looked at the smaller worriedly 'cause he was quiet since they left the school and that wasn't usual for him.
"What's wrong, Chinen?" he asked without taking his stare away.
"I don't know, I swear that my heart skipped a beat when that guy touched me." the latter explained.
"I think, you just got scared."
"Yeah, probably..." smaller sighed and then returned to his self.
He smiled to his friend cheerfully and they continued their way while talking.

"We'll start this day with a project. Your pair will be the one sitting next to you." it was already next day when teacher spoke today's program, and Yamada looked at his right to see his partner and saw the boy from earlier.
"That guy...!?" his eyes widened with wondered "I don't remember being in the same class as him."
Their teacher gave them instructions and they began with doing the project. Yamada claimed big red paper from teacher's table and was returning to his seat. He noticed that the black haired boy has pushed his desk beside his. He placed the paper on his desk and the smaller boy dug out a book from his bag
''You can write the topic down meanwhile I search for the information.'' Yamada nodded and then took a pencil from his pencil case and started writing down their topic.
After reading, Chinen placed the book down and took a piece of white paper and started to write an information changing it into his own words.
Then he compared his text to the text from the book and started to look for an eraser. His eyes spotted one on his partners table so he pushed his hand to reach it. As he grabbed it, someone else's hand landed on his. He pulled his hand away as his heart started beating madly. He looked at the boy next to him who was having a slightly shocked face.
Chinen only gulped and then turned his stare at the text book to avoid the awkward moment. Yamada used the eraser for his needs and then stretched it to the latter boy. Chinen looked at the eraser and then up at the brown haired boy.
He was smiling and Chinen returned a slight smile. Then he took the eraser gently in his hands and erased his mistake from the paper.
Yamada was done with writing the title in a cool graffiti way. Then he turned at the guy sitting next to him and looked at how the boy was writing with the left hand.
Yamada reached a little curiously to see the text. He could read only few first words when Chinen's elbow touched him. Yamada's heart reacted once more and he startled.
"Doushita?" the little boy looked at him as he stopped his writing.
"Iiya... what have you written?" Yamada grabbed the paper and looked at it nervously.
"What does this say? I don't get it."
"Eh, what?" Chinen moved closer to see which part Yamada meant.
He knew his handwriting is a little sloppy but he tried his best to write properly when it's a project where everyone will see the text written by him.
As Chinen's chest touched Yamada, the older boy jumped up. He put the paper on his desk and then walked away from the class, leaving his partner all confused.
Yamada walked along corridor, as far as he could go right now. He leaned his forehead to a wall and placed his hands on his face trying to calm himself down.
"What is wrong with me? Why am I always about to get a heart attack whenever I touch him!?"
"Yamada-san?" he heard a familiar voice calling for him.
"Don't touch me!!" he yelled.
The short boy pulled his hand back as the latter shouted and wondered what could happen to the older boy. Yamada turned to face the shorter boy.
"Don't ever come near me!!" he yelled and walked away leaving the other a bit confused, again.
The smaller boy turned and frowned a little as he was looking at how the older one was walking away. He sighed.
"What is with him?"

Yamada threw his bag on the floor and then fell on his bed. After the incident, he decided to skip the rest of the lessons in the school. He couldn't calm down after what happened. Since then, the little boy's face always flashed in front of his eyes and the feeling of beating heart returned. He ruffed his hair trying to get rid of that feeling.
Door to his room wasn't completely closed and someone walked in, without him hearing it
"Ryosuke, is something bothering you?" his older sister asked and Yamada looked up.
"Eh?"
"You just... you look so confused recently." Yamada sighed.
"There is something." he confessed and his sister sat down beside him on the bed.
"Tell me" She said worried and curious about his little brother.
Yamada sighed once again and then started explaining about his weird feelings and told her about the new boy he met, who is apparently causing him those feelings.
After the story was told his sister was smirking widely and the chubby cheeked boy only frowned while looking at her. She grabbed his cheek and pinched it.
"My little brother fell in love~ how sweet"
"WHAT!?" Yamada looked shocked and confused at his older sister. She only gave him another smirk.
"What are you talking about!? He's a guy!!"
"So?"
"I'm not gay!! Besides I have a girlfriend and I love her."
"Oh yeah? Does your heart pump the same way when you touch her as it does with that boy?" the girl teased and Yamada's face was getting redder.
"Shut up! Anyhow I can't be in love with him! Not because we are guys, how could I fall in love with someone I don't know!?"
"Idiot. Have you ever heard of 'Love from first sight'?"
"It's not that!"
"Maybe you have already met him before?"
"No. Never."
"Then it's a love from first sight~"
"Nee-chan!!''

Yamada breathed hardly as he was walking in corridor toward his classroom door. He felt very nervous to face the little boy, especially after he yelled to him. As he was already in front of the class room door, he made a deep inhale and exhale.
''Please, heart don't kill me today.'' he murmured before opening the door. Then he slowly opened it and silently walked inside. The black haired boy was already sitting on his seat.
Yamada lightly sat on his chair diagonally while looking at the boy in front of him who was spacing out. Chinen was fully in his thoughts but he felt someone's stare through the thoughts. He turned on the left and spotted the guy looking deeply at him.
He startled a little, his stare creeped him out. ''C-can I help you?'' he questioned stiffed.
Yamada dropped his head a little down realized his stare was creepy and then looked back at the boy but with a normal look. The smaller's body relaxed as soon as he received the soft look from the brown haired boy.
''I'm sorry for yesterday.'' he apologized and received a smile from latter what caused his heart to throb, 'surprisingly' again
''It's okay.'' the black haired boy responded, still with the smile on his face.
Afterwards they nicely chatted. It was first time for Yamada to talk normally to a guy. It didn't even feel weird, what surprised him. It felt, very nice, he admitted to himself. He liked it. But maybe he enjoyed the talk because the one he was talking to was Chinen and not someone else. He didn't know, but he didn't let it be a matter.
Was he really in love with this guy as his older sister said, he wondered

It's already sunday when Yamada entered a flower store and bought one beautiful red rose. From the store he continued his way.
He walked happily to the park where he arranged a meet up with someone special to him. He hummed a song and imagined how happy the person will be as that will get the flower.
Finally he arrived to the place and saw a girl sitting on a bench waiting for someone. He made his steps closer to her.
"To the most beautiful girl in this world." he said and gave the rose to her.
"Thank you, Ryosuke!" the girl jumped up and hugged him.
"It's beautiful." she looked smiling at the rose.
"Where are we going?" Yamada asked brightly smiling.
"Ryosuke,"
"Mmm?"
"I called you here for a reason. I'm breaking up with you." the girl stated and made Yamada's jaw drop.
"What? Why!?" he reacted quickly.
"I found someone else." she said while trying to avoid the latter boy's glare.
"What!? What he's got that I don't have!?"
"Well... you're just not the right person for me. Gomen ne." she turned around and began with walking away.
Yamada wasn't pleased with the answer she gave him. He stopped her by grabbing her hand and pulled her back.
"What's the real reason?" he madly asked.
"Let me go!" the girl yelled trying to release from Yamada's hold.
"Not until you tell me why!" the black haired boy yelled pulling her again, making her stop struggling.
"I just never loved you." the girl pulled her hand away and walked away. Yamada was left behind in shock.
"Bitch." he murmured.
Ever since the girl left, Yamada was sitting in that park on the bench where the girl once used to sit. He sighed trying to calm himself down and shake off all the thoughts about her.
Then suddenly his phone started ringing in his pocket. He picked it up.
"What!?" he answered in a bit irritated tone.
"Umm... Hi, anoo..."
"That voice..." he thought.
"Did I call at bad time?" boy on the other line asked.
"No. What is it?" Yamada asked with a calmer voice.
"I'm calling about our project. We need to finish it by tomorrow."
"Right. Could you come over my house since I have the poster?"
"Umm... where do you live?" Yamada sighed.
"Let's meet at a park."
"Hai." Yamada gave instructions to smaller in which park they're going to meet.

Yamada opened door and waited to Chinen to come in and then he walked inside following the smaller boy and closed the door behind him. Chinen removed his shoes and already walked forward to look around the house. Before he could take a good look around, a person walked next to him.
"Are you Chinen Yuri!?!?" the person asked. Chinen looked at the girl who looked very excited seeing him.
"Ah, hai..." he responded and the girl seemed to be really happy about it and wait, how did she know his name? he thought.
"Mecha kawaii~ No wonder my little brother likes you! He was talking so much about you! I can't remember even one moment when he talked about something else~" the girl clapped her hands together and brought them close to her face.
"Oi, that's not true!" Yamada came in between as he finished with removing shoes.
"Oh, it is~ I hope you two will get together! You already look like a cute couple, kya."
"Let's go, Chinen." Yamada grabbed Chinen's wrist and pulled him along, this time not minding that his heart beats more than before.
"So, umm... let's finish the project..." Yamada said when they were in his room and went to search the poster with red face.
He took the paper out and placed it on the floor where the black haired boy was sitting. Also on the way he took his pencil case out and placed it on the floor as well
By two hours they were ready with the project and Yamada layed on the floor while sighing. Chinen chuckled a little looking at him. Then he looked around the room and after a while he heard some tiny snores. His head quickly turned to see where the sound came from and figured out the brown haired boy was producing those sounds.
''He fell asleep??'' Chinen was shocked. Just, how could he fall asleep so fast and on the floor? The smaller boy could never fall asleep if he's not comfortable.
He crawled closer to the brown haired boy and poked his cheek, he was sleeping for real. Then the smaller boy smiled and rested his head on latter boy's chest while his body was closed to him.
"I feel... so calm and safe." Chinen closed his eyes and smiled slightly.
Yamada opened his eyes and felt some weight on his chest. He looked up and saw the boy sleeping on him. After awhile the black haired boy opened his eyes and looked at Yamada. As he realized that the brown haired boy wasn't sleeping, he quickly removed himself away with pinkish cheeks but he still was lying on the floor.
Yamada progressed the situation after a shortish nap and then smiled. He placed his left hand on Chinen's head and then pushed him back on his chest. The black haired boy was shocked but he didn't protest. He only smiled and enjoyed his time being in Yamada's embrace.
"From now on, you're mine." Yamada said all of the sudden after they were lying for ten minutes now.
"What!?" the black haired boy sat up and looked at the one who followed sitting up.
"I'm not a thing, you can't--" he continued but was cut by Yamada who pulled him into a kiss.
The kiss didn't last long, surprisingly, because Yamada was ready to kiss the latter very passionately right now but held back those emotions just for his sake.
"Complaints are not accepted." he said while standing up and then cleaned their slight mess.
The black haired boy was only sitting silently with a red face and he peeked slightly at what Yamada was doing
''I'll see you tomorrow then'' Chinen was standing at a doorstep saying good-bye to the brown haired boy for today.
''Hai.'' Yamada smiled and the latter gave a smile to him too.
''Bye.'' Chinen lifted his hand to wave but then Yamada captured his face and pulled him closer for a kiss.
Then he released it and there was a slight smirk placed on his face.
''Bye'' he said while looking at Chinen who was speechless. He only nod his head and walked slowly away with a blush.
"Once my heart doesn't calm down, I won't let him go."

Chinen walked in class room and frowned. A crowd of girls were surrounding his boyfriend. He walked closer and barked and all of them separated on their seats.
Yamada smiled and then pulled the smaller boy on his lap. ''Good morning, baby.'' Chinen smiled brightly and landed a soft kiss on his lips.
''What they wanted from you this time?'' Chinen pouted and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend.
''Guess they want to steal me from you.''
''Mou''
''Don't worry, I'm not stupid to choose rubbish over treasure.'' he said while caressing Chinen's soft cheek with his finger. The latter smiled widely.
''Ryo-chan, my place is a little dirty could you help me with cleaning it up.''
''Eeeh, again?''
''Pleaaase~'' Chinen pouted and looked at him with puppy eyes. Yamada sighed, no way he could resist that cute behave.
''Okay.''
''Yattaa!'' the black haired boy hugged the latter while rubbing his cheek against the chubby cheek of his lover.
It has been three months already since the two of them started dating. Maybe no one wouldn't believe but their relationship was just perfect. They never argued, they've always been by each other side, when they needed one another and when not. They were always happy, it has been simply perfect relationship and still it continues
Their school day was already over and they both headed to Chinen's place. Yamada's eyes went big and he sighed at all the mess that was in the house. The whole place was literally upside down.
He looked at left at his lover who giggled slightly while shoving his tongue out. Yamada patted his head and they began with cleaning up the place.
The brown haired boy wiped sweat on his forehead as they were finishing the cleaning. He walked to find his lover and spotted him sitting in his room.
''What happened, Yuri?'' he asked as he noticed that the smaller one wasn't moving at all. He walked closer to him and saw him holding a book and just looking at its cover.
''I remember oji-chan read this story to me several times. I don't know why but I always loved to hear it.'' the boy said.
''It tells about a woman and a man who fell deeply in love from the first sight. The man died later and the woman killed herself. The story is actually a legend and it says that in the end--''
''they will be together once again.'' Yamada cut him before Chinen could finish. Somehow he just knew what the latter is going to say.
''You heard the legend too?'' Chinen looked with unbelievable and shocked face.
''No, but the story… it feels very familiar. Maybe I read the same book…''
''That's impossible. This book doesn't have any copies. Oji-chan wrote it for me because I liked the story.'' then Yamada looked at his lover weirdly, like something was going on.
''What were their names?'' he asked curiously, like they could say something to him.
''Yuka and Ryuji.'' Chinen responded and the brown haired boy frowned, why did those names sound so familiar to him
Then he just shook his head and looked at Yuri and smiled. ''Let's eat something.'' he ordered, forgetting about the story. Chinen smiled as he felt his tummy being empty and then nodded
He placed the book on shelf and then grabbed his lovers hand and they walked to make some food for them.
A part of legend was left unspoken to others and that part says that when two people with similar names to Yuka and Ryuji will meet, their hearts will beat unstoppable whenever eye contact and physical touch will be made or a simple presence will make the hearts race. Destiny of these two hears is to be by each others' sides. The two of them will end up together no matter what difficulties will stand in between them, they will make it because their hearts know that they belong to be with one another.
