My Kitty Pet (Chapter. 7)

Summary: Human cat beings live among us since 1600 century. They are officially some people's pets and enjoy being them. It's an awesome and pleasurable moment for everybody if one of them asks them to be their owner since only chosen ones have them as their pets.
Outside was dark, clock was showing 3am. Yamada used washroom and then walked to check Yuri's room. Usually he doesn't do that during night but this time he did. He looked around the room and the chibi wasn't in the bed nor in the whole room. Yamada frowned as he walked to look in others room but didn't find his pet. He checked the house once again, to make sure that he didn't miss any spot where Yuri could be but it no use. He really was gone
Then Yamada walked around the house outside, hoping that Yuri is somewhere near but no. It was late night, he couldn't even think where the younger boy could be at this time.
Thoughts ran through his mind and Daiki's words strike in his head. The ones he whispered to him couple of days ago
''My cousin is furious about your relationship. I think she's planning something.'' he whispered back then.
Yamada ran immediately to bang on Shida's house door. He waited for a while but no one responded. Then he hit the door once again and then it opened. Behind it was the girl he needed to talk with. She was in her pajama and with messed hair.
''Ryosuke? What are you doing here?'' surprised to see the latter at this time, she questioned.
''Where is Yuri!?'' he yelled. ''What? How can I know where's your lover.''
''Where is he!?'' he yelled once again. ''I don't know!'' the girl yelled back and closed the door in front of his face.
Yamada groaned and then tried to find his pet by running around the town.
Sun started to come up and Yamada still didn't find his pet. He returned home to see if the chibi has returned but the house was empty as it was earlier at night. Yamada called his two best friends to help him to find Yuri. Yuto, Daiki and even Takaki with Keito came along to help the boy.
Yamada left a piece of paper on the front door saying 'Yuri, if you return, call me!' and then the five boys separated and looked through the city to find the little boy.

Four days passed and the chibi still wasn't found. Yamada didn't know what to do anymore. They looked everywhere, they knocked to people's house doors to ask if they've seen the chibi but the was no result, Yamada even appeared to Yuri's ex-owner's place. Everything they did was useless. There wasn't any case where the boy could be.
After school Daiki told Yamada to meet him at library. When Yamada entered it, he saw Daiki was holding a book.
''Did you find something?'' he asked right away and Daiki looked at him.
''What are you talking about? Let's finish our assignment.''
''Eh? What about Yuri? We need to find him!''
''Yuri? He will have to wait…'' Daiki said as he continued to read the book.
''How can you say that!? He can be anywhere!'' Yamada yelled but Daiki pretended like he didn't hear anything.
The latter couldn't believe that his friend is acting this way. Why he seems to be so cold? Yuri is important to him too, isn't he? Yamada exit the library heading back to town as he hoped that he will find his little pet.

It has been already two weeks since Yuri has gone missing. The owner of the pet went even more hopeless now. He still wanted to believe that he'll find Yuri.
It started to get late when Yamada went to bed. He was lying long there before he could fall asleep.
This night he saw the same dream he has been seeing for three days now. A bright day, with a clear sky above. Birds flying while singing melodies. As he slowly walks upstairs in a building reaching a rooftop, he sits down on the ground and closes his eyes. Then he suddenly starts to feel weight on his legs making him unable to stand or move. The roof suddenly disappears and then he is falling. The falling seems lasting long before he reaches the ground.
As in the dream he falls he jumped up in reality. He sat up and held his face.
''Yuri… doko ni iru no…?'' he cried.
