Next week, I'm giving a talk at the Paris Freedom Fest, entitled "Enlightened England, Optimistic America". It's about the English/Scottish Enlightenment, and how the ideas invented by those philosophers were made flesh, as it were, by America, and why American values are best.

I just realized that the talk is scheduled on September 11th. ;_; ♥
