Oh, THANK YOU for linking me to this! I completely missed it on Monday when it was apparently posted.

Gah, it's amazing how you manage to get so much into these little scraps. They take on layers of meanings and some of them kick you in the gut with just a few words. I love them so, SO much!

And these are all just... GAH! GOOD! The note about Martouf (why does no one explore that more?? that look that Daniel had was so very resentful and protective!), the big science experiment they did together with an ink blot (glee!!), the gifts, the missing of bodies, and JOE!

I definitely think the whole "picture is worth a thousand words" is a true saying. I think out of all the fic I've written, this series is the most rewarding.

I find that there's always deeper meanings to the images, you can read them at face value - as an adjunct to the episode they're connected to, but they also say so much more about the relationship.

It's in the reason why the notes were kept, or the fact that they communicate the closeness of Sam and Daniel - the moments in time that they chose to record.

I think I'll keep making them :D
