Kaldur felt strange as he woke from the dream about the badge and the mysterious voice. He did not remember falling asleep after picking up the badge from the floor of their base, but it had been a long night so perhaps he had been more out of it than he originally thought. [Applejack doesn't have much to do. She's mostly been trying to make sense of the situation she's in, with her new fire pony body. There she happens to stumble across a equally confused Dewott.]

Hi lil' guy... ya new here too?

[Kaldur, being one of the taller of his friends, was not used to being addressed as "lil' guy" so it took him a moment to realize that he was being addressed at all. He looked up to find a fiery pony looking at him with concern.

Literally, the pony was on fire. Although, Kaldur having turned into a strange otter-creature probably did not have room to talk and figured he could worry about that aspect later.]

I am. Do you know where this is [pause] or what is going on?

Ah'm new here too sugarcube, apparently we're by a town called New Shaleton, don' know much 'bout the how though.

New Shaleton [He shakes his head] I have not heard of such a place. [He did say he was new though, so that was probably obvious. At least this one seemed friendly.] Can you tell me anything about this place at all?

Somehow, Ryuzaki has managed to still be shorter than this new comer on the beach, by about a foot at the least. He's managed to get himself to resist the urge to scream constantly whenever he sees something... 'new' thankfully, and it's no doubt a relief to anyone around him who heard that.

At the moment, he's probably only at the beach in a fruitless attempt to clear his head; no doubt his emotions are more than clearly written over his face. Beak.

The red and blue probably stands out even more though.

Kaldur is taking this whole situation rather well, surprisingly. Probably because he'd rather have all the answers before allowing himself the luxury of a proper freak out.

It is only because he is looking for someone to ask questions of that he notices the small dinosaur-bird at all. He watches him for a moment, quickly picking up on the fact that he looks even more lost and confused than himself. Kaldur walks cautiously over to him, "Are you also new to this?"

Eh, voices-

"HAH-" Ryuzaki jumps as he looks to the source of the voice, before quickly calming himself. "Oh- another..." He hurriedly coughs, nodding. "If you mean to not being human... Yea. Definitely."

Blink. "...You're taking it better than me though..."

Whoops. He had not meant to startle him. Kaldur nodded, deciding not to mention the fact that he was not human even back home but Atlantian. Hard enough to explain that when he was an otter currently. "Yes, that is what I meant."

Kaldur sighs, "I suppose it has not quite sunk in and I am waiting for the appropriate time. It feels...too real to be a dream but it is difficult for me to view it as otherwise."
