Kaldur felt strange as he woke from the dream about the badge and the mysterious voice. He did not remember falling asleep after picking up the badge from the floor of their base, but it had been a long night so perhaps he had been more out of it than he originally thought. That was easy enough to explain away, but Kaldur was not sure if he could

[Applejack doesn't have much to do. She's mostly been trying to make sense of the situation she's in, with her new fire pony body. There she happens to stumble across a equally confused Dewott.]

Hi lil' guy... ya new here too?

[Kaldur, being one of the taller of his friends, was not used to being addressed as "lil' guy" so it took him a moment to realize that he was being addressed at all. He looked up to find a fiery pony looking at him with concern.

Literally, the pony was on fire. Although, Kaldur having turned into a strange otter-creature probably did not have room to talk and figured he could worry about that aspect later.]

I am. Do you know where this is [pause] or what is going on?

Ah'm new here too sugarcube, apparently we're by a town called New Shaleton, don' know much 'bout the how though.

New Shaleton [He shakes his head] I have not heard of such a place. [He did say he was new though, so that was probably obvious. At least this one seemed friendly.] Can you tell me anything about this place at all?

Sorry but Ah don' know that much sugarcube. Other than there bein' all these strange critters runnin' 'round.

I see. I appreciate your help though. [He looks down at his paws] Yes, I noticed the strange creatures aspect.

Yer welcome stranger, jus' tryin' ta be as helpful as Ah can. Ah'm Applejack by the way, what's your name?

Kaldur'ahm [pause] Although most just call me Kaldur. It is a pleasure to meet you as well Applejack.

Have you been to the town yet?

[Strange name. But hey, she's in a world where she's on fire and it doesn't hurt, a name isn't going to be that unusual for her.]

Ah've strolled through but Ah haven't really got ta know anyone that well. And so ya know, there's tents set up fer the newcomers, 'parently we ain't the only one's stuck here.

So we are both in the same boat then, as the saying goes. Still that is more than I knew a few minutes ago and I thank you for that. I shall have to explored the town on my own then I suppose.
