that is pretty cool. mesh network are teh future. i'd love to get a few of these to just play around with, that and the one-laptop-per-child project has some pretty sweet r&d going on that will hopefully trickle down to consumer hardware.

I'm happy with my linksys (running openwrt) again...thought it was crapping out...turns out the auto channel select suxors...I forced it to channel 10 and it works great...some additional research showed that in auto select mode, the signal strength went from around 80 (on kismac) to about 2 and back in a fairly regular pattern...(every couple of seconds it jumped)...sounds like some kind of interference to me...oh and I checked...it's not just the beacon that was causing this...it happened when I was actively transmitting data.
