japan travel guide: updated for 2019!
I've been in Japan for a week now, and I'm getting used to how things work again. I hadn't spent any appreciable amount of time on my own here for... a decade, I guess? Vacation, part 1: Amsterdam
I am coming the the end of my month-long vacation to Amsterdam and Berlin. I dreamt that there were vampires with various supernatural powers; one of them had the ability to cause spoken words to be exchanged with each other. In this case, they swapped 'tennis' and 'rabbit', so I could only say 'rabbit racket' or 'what a cute tennis'; I could still recognize what the correct word should have been, but it was intercepted ( Read more... )
