Theme Challenge

So I came across this challenge on Deviant Art and I thought I might try it, the challenge is actually for artists but I thought I might try it for writing poems. We shall see how it goes. I am not sure how quickly I will go through this, we shall see. I have edited the rules and so forth in it to fit for poetry.

This is a cool idea. I may do this. I need something to motivate me to practice writing poetry, anyway.

Me too, I noticed that I have not been writing as often at I would like to, and it is not that I don't have time, it's just that I can't seem to think of things to write about. So I am hoping that this will help.

Do you think you'll do fiction, non-fiction or mixed?

At first I thought I might just do poetry, but then I started thinking and decided to change the wording to be writing of any kind. So primarily I think it will be poetry, but I think there may be some mixed.

Thanks, I really like that. I have actually been thinking very seriously about starting a little business of selling my "crafts". It does mean that I will probably make some items that I think of as a bit not quite my style, but something that will sell. But I think it is true, sometimes making the things that aren't our best helps us make things that truly are good.

Yea, I found it on Deviant Art on the journal of a poet I watch there, and I liked it so much that I decided to start it. I don't know quite how long it will take me, but it is a good place to start.

I am too, and I love that this one does not have a time limit, it allows me to go at my own speed and write when the words come to me. I am glad that you are able to start this challenge as well. Would you mind if I friended you to see what poems you come up with for the challenge. I must say that I do enjoy your poems in the community. I don't get a chance to comment much because of work but I do enjoy them.

Oh, why thank you! I try to comment on everyone whenever I can. I also work and go to school as well! So, I know what BUSY, BUSY means!! lol

Yay! I have friended away. I remember the working and going to school gig. That was my life until about two years ago. But the sad thing is life just doesn't get less busy once you graduate. Actually I really miss college, the mental stimulation of the work field is not the greatest.
