So I came across this challenge on Deviant Art and I thought I might try it, the challenge is actually for artists but I thought I might try it for writing poems. We shall see how it goes. I am not sure how quickly I will go through this, we shall see. I have edited the rules and so forth in it to fit for poetry.

So often all we need to do
is open our frustrated heart
up to him, he who gave us life
and who holds the blessings
we never knew we needed.
Once open who knows what
wondrous blessings may pour in
having waited years for our
hard heart, just to open.

At times I wonder
if the forced velocity
of the turning of a dog
could cause it to fall down
a four footed ring
around the rosy
ashes and ashes
till the turning tore
everything, paws, cold
wet nose, even tail
down, down into curling sleep
