catastrophic event

About 1:15 am Monday night (err..tuesday morning), I flushed the comode, as I usually do after going to the bathroom. But, this time, something catastrophic occurred: the pipe pumping fresh water into the toilet broke. a 30 mph (so it seemed) stream of water was spraying EVERYWHERE. i couldn't turn off the pump for the life of me. my bathroom
