Never in a million years did I think I would be writing a post like this.  I had been neglecting my LJ for some time now and figured an entry was way past due..you know, one of those nice, benign 'my vacation' type entries. Like I've commented back earlier, it's people like your friend that are the very reason we must remember this day. It's too important and crucial to forget, and sweep under the rug.

I am shocked at Kefer's comment that starts with "Second." He certainly didn't take a respectable road in shattering people like us who hold this day so close with a sense of mourning.

Thank God for people like you Avey, so patriotic and unashamed to show it, thank God.

I agree whole-heartedly. 9-11 will never be forgotten, especially with me. And if some punk decides he doesn't want to remember, he will pay the price. Here is a good test to determine loyalty. if you listen to "God Bless the USA" and not get chills down your spine, you might want to rethink your priorities. I can't listen to that song, or even THINK about that song without getting the chills.

that song has actually been in my head all day....you can imagine how many times i got goosebumps today. But i'm glad, because i'm proud to be an american, where atleast i know i'm free....and i won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me.
