X-Factor 234 Summary
We start off with the bizarre courtship rituals up north.
Then Lorna feels the need for a flower fix after all her time in space (as you do) but her flying into the public gardens draws a crowd. Alex helps her disengage, and they chill out for a while.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch office the rest of the gang finds out Madrox is back. Monet goes ballistic on Layla and flies off with her to sort things out. Jamie wants Terry to save Layla, but Terry points out if Monet wanted to hurt Layla she already would have. Then she slugs Jamie for dying and hugs him for coming back. There's a hint that Jamie's gay dupe is still around as well.
Monet chooses the top of the Empire State building for the confrontation, and tells the tourists, "I'm your worst nightmare people! I'm a superstrong Muslim mutant with PMS! So back the Hell off!"
Layla: "That's what I've always liked about you. You're such a people person."
Layla said she brought Guido back to spare M the grief and guilt of M's role in restoring Guido's killer. Layla freaks and flies away.

And two wannabe superheroes in Seattle get iced, apparently as part of an plan of Jocasta's to kill all the capes. (Can we call them all "capes" in Marvel, or is that just a DC thing?)
This issue felt slightly better than most recently. The pacing and the characters felt better.
