D'awwww, the group hug made me grin like a fool. Never would've expected that. You can just hear PAD chuckling to himself thinking 'this'll throw all those people who think I do nothing but snark' - a kind of trolling in reverse! Though I note 'Star gave a 'non-denial denial' about groping Jamie :lol ( ... )

Good, PAD is welcome to reverse troll all he likes. Prove us wrong, big guy. All for it. :P

Hm, thinking about it, maybe it really is only fair if everyone sleeps with Jamie. Fits his "Stu" status nicely, only...I kinda like the idea of a transvestite dupe more than a gay one. Ah well.

Yeah, I noticed that facial work too! And I'm a background freak, since I grew up with the old school when splash pages were less common and more story was worked into small spaces. Certainly hope Guido isn't an impedes for M's top going down again either (hadn't thought of....that), but I don't mind it zipped -- it's nice to change things around (I also think it looks sexy). *shrugs*

*crosses fingers on the next plot move*
It'll be interesting to see why Shatterstar would've been lying if they turn out related; he can be as clueless as Longshot at times, but then suddenly emotionally insightful (like giving Wolfsbane & Rictor their space).

Then Lorna feels the need for a flower fix after all her time in space (as you do) - HA ( ... )

Don't forget Thor.

(DH was disappointed to learn that Doctor Strange no longer uses one.)

"Capes" was used as slang back in the late 80s-early 90s IIRC, but Marvel has never really been big on them. For a while only villains and gods wore capes.

Oh let's face it, we're all too busy looking at his...hammer. Some redheads more than others. *ahem*

I am now also disappoint. Dug me some Strange as a kid. well, between Nightcrawler & Longshot how could I not?

Hey, fairly new here and just picked up my first physical issue of X-Factor. Yay!

Loved Guido's reaction when the group finds Jaime alive. Also, that group hug really is the most adorable thing ever. Aww, especially Rictor <3.

Really enjoyed the conversation between Monet and Layla. It's fun to see Layla be more open now and explain how she sees the world, both to us readers and to her teammates. I rather like the idea that those two are going to be best friends.

what worries me is that that's not how PAD is setting it up. Layla changed things when she brought Guido back. It upset everything. Now, maybe that best friends relationship with monet isn't going to happen.

Oh, that's true. Doh, I hadn't thought of that :(

I love how PAD has written himself an 'out' where Layla can NOT know stuff or be wrong sometimes. It was time for that, I think.

Agree on Kirk's compositions, they rock. Lovely sense of expanding/contracting distance in both those examples.

I'm now ridiculously hyped for the next story, and simultaneously bracing for disappointment. I'm so often dead wrong with my predictions and hopes on this book; what I expect or assume from my head-logic is so often NOT what happens at all. So I now have this worry that Rictor won't even be in the group sent to Seattle :/
