Hey, fairly new here and just picked up my first physical issue of X-Factor. Yay!
Loved Guido's reaction when the group finds Jaime alive. Also, that group hug really is the most adorable thing ever. Aww, especially Rictor <3.
Really enjoyed the conversation between Monet and Layla. It's fun to see Layla be more open now and explain how she sees the world, both to us readers and to her teammates. I rather like the idea that those two are going to be best friends.
what worries me is that that's not how PAD is setting it up. Layla changed things when she brought Guido back. It upset everything. Now, maybe that best friends relationship with monet isn't going to happen.
I love the idea of M and Layla becoming best friends. Though I think Monet flew off angry because she still loathes the notion that she's fore-ordained to be or do anything. I'd love to see how that friendship develops, because Monet's clearly resistant to the idea (and how poignant for Layla that her future best friend currently mistrusts and dislikes her... more Layla angst to add to her load)
I think M's flying off comes from the same source as her buttoning-up and her anger at Layla -- it's all displaced guilt over Ballistique killing Guido just as Layla said. I've thought that since the beginning.

I love how PAD has written himself an 'out' where Layla can NOT know stuff or be wrong sometimes. It was time for that, I think.
