Mah,se l'arte è una malattia mentale beato chi ne soffre.
Ma pensavo che fosse un'opinione più tipica dell'epoca di Stalin,che ha prodotto il cosiddetto "realismo socialista",e che da allora aveste fatto qualche progresso :-)) Ma sono spesso troppo ottimista! (Anche questa è una malattia mentale,sicuramente.)

It's a he,not a her,Nicola being the equivalent of Nicholas:) But yes,I find him an excellent painter,I've known him a good few years,from when he was studying renaissance techniques in Venice,which he now applies to much more contemporary subject-matter.
Yes sure I've heard of the Birmingham Conservatoire, although I left England when I was 12 and my voice was beginning to break(I was a chorister at Worcester previously)and since then I studied in Milan and started working at La Scala (still in Abbado's time) then turned freelance later.
