Good things and bad things

The anonymous insect seems to have stopped biting. No new itches since yesterday, but the old ones are drivbing me frantic

Lamb hearts are in the slow cooker, so there is a delicious smell

It hasn't stopped blowing and/or drizzling for three days. On the other hand, people seem to have enjoyed Faenol, which I feared  would be ruined.

I didn't think I would, but I enjoyed the Time Traveller's Wife. I assume his mind takes his living body back or forward but leaves the clothes--and that does form an important plot point later.
