It's *not* the guy from the last ep of Firefly. Jubal Early is *completely different*. His *voice* is completely different. I mean, I totally get where you'd mistake one for the other--I did too, at first--but then I rewatched a bit of Objects in Space, and, just, no. The way they talk alone is *completely different*. Not to mention different appearances, character backgrounds, jobs... so. yeah.
And I am for a student matinee anytime you pick. Your boy is transportation? ;-)
Huh. I guess I'll have to rewatch Objects in Space, because the way the guy in the movie talked, his cadences and ways of enunciating seemed quite the same to me. But then again, I learned in linguistics that phonology hallucination is quite common. ^^;; Yeah huh. Assassin versus bounty hunter. I noticed that, but I thought they'd just decided to tweak it for the movie, since the concept of a character that's a "believer" and so creepily calm is the same. You gonna lend me your Firefly? I'll drag the boy. :P
My Firefly is your Firefly! ...temporarily. [looks shifty] But yeah, borrow it anytime you like. And I highly approve of boy-dragging. :-P
In the interesting category of auditory hallucinations, quite often when I watch a foreign film with subtitles I later remember lines said with the foreign actor's voice and intonation, but in the words of the English translation. I mean I "hear" it in my head that way. Weeeeird. :-)
