Well, that was a waste of good materials, time, and effort...
I spilled most of a jar of purple silk paint on the kitchen floor this morning while trying to make a banner for Elena. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to salvage enough dye to finish her silk and thus the project is pretty much ruined. If I try to go back and paint later, it will look like crap ( Read more... ) -

The war is over and I will soon have a house...
The quick up front news is that the house which Elena and I have made an offer on has gone through all of its little trials and tribulations and we will close on it mid-April.
On to the war!
- Bought a cheap 40" rapier from Zen Warrior the first day as well as some nice gloves.
