First, I did this to myself this evening after cleaning the shower and tub with Soft Scrub and Comet cleansers:

I guess I'll have to try those all-natural cleaners that cost like $10 for a bottle. I doubt they work as good.

OMG! Please wear goggles next time. That doesn't hurt? *hugs*

Who else from SPN was on Justified? I know Jim Beaver was.

Yeah, it did kinda hurt. I was used to my eyes being burny and sore after I cleaned, but I never realized how bad it was!

Bobby showed up, as did Gabriel (Richard Speight Jr)!

Ouch! Yes, you will have to wear goggles next time!

Weirdness with the DVR.

Justified was awesome tonight...Quarles is totally creepy.....

I'm looking forward to both Game of Thrones and True Blood as well. After seeing Denis O'Hare on stage this past weekend, I think he's even more amazing....

And I seriously need to watch Mad Men. I know I have YEARS to catch up on...so it looks like it'll be a DVD watch of that show for me.

I have a pair of Speedo lenses that are cracked, so I'll have to wear those. Crazy.

I'm so jealous over your one-man show you saw. I read him tweeting about it, but I don't have the money for something like that right now, even off-Broadway. I do enjoy him, though. I can't wait until he comes back to liven things up on True Blood.

Is Mad Men streaming on Netflix? To be honest, when I first started watching it I had a hard time with the sexism and the way they treated the women, and I couldn't stand Don Draper's himbo-ness. Oh man, he is all over the place. But eventually I grew used to the anachronisms. I have to say I think Season 4 was the best, the one that just passed.

No idea if MM is streaming at Netflix. I never used that feature. (yes, I'm old fashioned and get the DVD's from Netflix). In the more than six years I've been a member of Netflix, I think I've viewed a movie via streaming -- which means just on my laptop since I don't have what I need to hook it up to my tv -- only about 5 times?

Well, unless you changed your Netflix subscription when the price change went into effect, you still have streaming. They had discs and streaming combined for years for one price, and then with the price change they separated the two. It got too expensive for me, so went back to just discs. They don't have enough of what I want to watch on streaming. But you might want to check your account! If you don't use streaming you can make sure you're *only* getting discs. Definitely save money, like I did.

You have lovely eyes if you overlook the bloodshotedness. And I like your eyebrows exactly the way they are.

Heh, bloodshotedness. That's for sure. I couldn't believe it when I looked in the mirror. My eyes usually hurt after I clean, but I never knew it was this bad!

My girlfriend does the whole plucking thing, and I can't deal with that. I have enough annoying hair growing around my body that I could give a shit about my eyebrows, LOL

Oh wow. Are you sure you're not mixing ammonia and chlorine?

rhymephile March 22 2012, 04:26:31 UTC
Well, if I had done that I would have created chlorine gas, which is poisonous within seconds. It's just irritation from getting splashed in the eyes with the cleaners. I'll have to change the way I do things next time though!

Hahaha I've accidentally made (mild) chlorine gas before, and it's very irritating to the throat, but no real lasting damage (or so I hope).

Really? Jeez, I wouldn't want to experiment! I hope there's no lasting damage, since I'm sure you weren't exposed very long. But chlorine gas was one of the major chemical weapons used during World War I because of its lingering effects on the lungs. My red, burny eyes were enough for me.
