Yesterday I went up to Tillamook with Sabine and the rest of Tribalation to dance at the North Coast Seafood Festival. It was a nice trip, especially since I rode with Sabine so I didn't have to do any driving (3 hours each way), which meant I could knit for most of the drive (I'm so close to being done with my sweater, but now the stitch count is ( Read more... )

That is so funny about your fringe, because I had a dream just a few nights ago that I was leaving a store and my iPod headphone kept getting tangled up in everyone else's stuff and every few steps I had to get untangled from another person! Weird.

Glad you had a nice weekend with dancing and cooking! Sorry to hear about the mice. I hope they go away quickly and neatly!

You do! OMG, so good. It had a slightly spicy, slightly tangy sauce, somewhere between taco seasonings and an Asian barbecue sauce, and was topped with Japanese-style seaweed salad. I was worried the octopi might have been overcooked and chewy, as that seems to happen in many places, especially in a situation where they're being kept warm in chafing dishes, but no! They were tender and succulent.
