I've revved up my posting motor over the last days - this is because I've entered a pact with
solo____, aiming to be more outgoing on the internetz. At least until the end of the month. :-)
I have a weird double standard thing going on when it comes to LJ posts. I love posts where
you guys share your thoughts, links, pictures, squeeage, meme results, updates on your writing or your pets or your quest to find the perfect lasagne - whatever it is
you want to share, whether random or weighty, serious or silly, light-hearted or melancholy. I'd really miss these posts if
you all suddenly decided to post only if you'd written a new story, or if there was something super-important to discuss. So please don't decide such a thing, okay? ;-)
But when it comes to me posting, I almost always think "oh, but this isn't important/interesting/whatnot enough, I'd just be spamming people". I know perfectly well that if someone else posted whatever it was, I wouldn't think it was spammy at all. But when it's me...
Hence, the attempt to overcome my posting insecurity by posting once a day for one month. I'm still undecided whether it'd be a good idea to friendslock the daily entries and slap an opt-in filter on them... but then, that may well just be a symptom of the above-mentioned posting insecurity.
What do you think?
