I just finished the last unfinished scene of my tale of sparkly dancing boys.

Holy epicness, Batman. Where epic means over 220.000 words. Yesterday, Word started crashing on me near-constantly because the file evidently got too big to handle.Not bad for a short story I intended to dash off quickly in between other projects, just for fun

It feels a bit like cheating to accept congratulations this early on, considering there are many many scenes still in a state of utter disrepair. Declaring the successful repair of this one scene the end of Phase One... but yeah. :-) I am glad I made it this far!! And now I am pretty sure I'll make it all the way, which is a relief.

I know these aren't your preferred guys, but who knows - I do think the story should work as original fic, too, for people who don't actually know the sparkly boys. At least I really hope it does, because that's how I intended to write it! :-)

Yes, at some point the philosophizing grew less extreme. ;-) Though it's still quite an impressive body of work... methinks I'll have to whittle that scene down considerably in the edit. But for now, I'm just glad it's *there*. :-)
