I just finished the last unfinished scene of my tale of sparkly dancing boys.
Holy epicness, Batman. Where epic means over 220.000 words. Yesterday, Word started crashing on me near-constantly because the file evidently got too big to handle.
Not bad for a short story I intended to dash off quickly in between other projects, just for fun. ;-)
There are still several scenes that need to be re-written and/or adjusted before I will feel comfortable calling this even a rough draft. And then the entire thing needs to be extensively edited, which is a pretty daunting task, too. And then, the monster needs to be beta-read... But still: In *some* shape and form, it is done.
