I LOVE BRAN! But, I'm pretty sure that thhis is the season where everyone dies (unless the writers are making the third book into 2 seasons). They keep killing people that I like and it makes me sad. :(

Lucky you, if you love Bran! I think things will go your way.

Who did they kill that you liked so far? (I haven't read the books, though, so please don't spoil me...) So far I was fortunate in that no character I cared about was a casualty. I've feared for several, but so far, I've been lucky!

Also, nobody ever dies on this show.

No? I can think of two major characters who have died so far, which is more than can be said for a lot of shows. But without spoiling anything, I'll say that the book they're on now is when things went from sort of unpleasant to "HAHA, ANYONE CAN DIE!" In some cases this is good because some characters really deserve it, but they also like to kill off characters I like and save the ones I hate.

This is the first time I've seen anyone speculate that Bran will be king (though I avoid the majority of GoT fandom which I hear is kind of crazy), so hmm, I wonder. At the point the books have reached, I'm expecting more of a "rocks fall; everyone dies" ending than anything else, but if there's anyone I fear might swoop in and rule Westeros even though I don't want them to, it's Dany.

No?*g* Considering how everyone - including the show's marketing! - warned me that people dropped like flies on GoT, and that *anyone* could be next... no, so far the death count has been extremely low when compared to the expectations the show intentionally built (and what I heard from other sources). I'm actually kind of glad to hear that this will probably change soon, because I think there are too many narrative strands now. When it's impossible to give all major characters airtime in a single ep and they have to be spread over two, I think it's time to cut down on characters ( ... )
