My elbow and wrist are still not quite back to normal, but much, much better. Also, I now have very fashionable colored bandages in azure, Prussian blue, spring green, crimson, fuchsia and black. It makes all the difference. :-) Of course, I have not spent my weekend employing my returned ability to be productive in order to be productive. Instead

To the extent that I have one right now, it's Charles/Erik - mainly from X-Men First Class, but also all other X-Men media. I don't want to go into all the reasons why I love these guys together because it'd take me all night, but I love them. I also love that canon pretty much agrees with me. :-)
The two are all but explicitly canon in the comics; in some timelines, they are explicitly so, AFAIK. Even in the others, they do things like leave their respective protégés in the other's care while they take care of something else, save the other's life, be grief-stricken over the other's dead body, and take a few weeks off to vacation in the other's super-secret get-away.
As for the movies, both sets of actors agree that Charles and Erik are in love, and the world would be a better place if the world *was* a place where they could just make out and forget about all those pesky other issues. :-)
They're also just ridiculous fun. I mean:

A) I always liked Loki best of the Norse gods, and supplement movie!Loki with the Loki in my head; and
B) the fact that movie!Loki does have a lovely dynamic with Tony in what time they have together in Avengers, and the relationship would be fascinating IMO.

Nibelungenlied: Hagen von Tronege
Tokyo Babylon / X 1999: Sakurazuka Seishirou
From Eroica, with Love: Klaus von dem Eberbach
Highlander: Methos
Utena: Saionji Kyoichi
Also...
X-Files: Alex Krycek
Supernatural: Dean Winchester
But those fandoms have rather lost their luster for me since.
I feel very predictable somehow. ;-)

And thank you for your good wishes! :-) It really wasn't a serious thing, just a painful nuisance for a while. *g*

Over on Dreanwidth, I answered with:
Highlander - Duncan/Methos
Smallville - Clark/Lex
X-Men First Class - Charles/Erik
But I have three others for you, since I have collected a lot of fandoms over the years:
Tokyo Babylon / X 1999 - Seishirou/Subaru
Gensoumaden Saiyuki - Goyjo/Hakkai
Entourage - Vince/E
I think I could go on for quite a while before I run out of fandoms. ;-) Haven't even gotten to Jackson/Danny yet!!

Okay, here's another three - another very mixed bag of goods!
Due South - Fraser/Ray Kowalski
Dresden Files - Harry Dresden/John Marcone
Wiseguy - Vince Terranova/Sonny Steelgrave
ETA: Not so mixed after all... I seem to have a law enforcement and/or mob thing going here. Huh.

Yay for watching TVD! I love that show. I'm waiting for my Berlin friend to visit (she got me addicted to TVD last year) so we can marathon Teen Wolf together, since the appeal of that show escapes me completely and she thinks she can change my mind.
I'm curious, so I pick.... 6, 9, 21 and 25.

You like TVD too? I never knew! Who's your favorite, then? As of now, I'm rather partial to Caroline and Alaric (not together, never fear *g*), but I'm only in the middle of S3. Who knows what may yet hap.
A friend got me into it, too, though I failed the first attempts to get past ep 1. This time I've had more luck. But I must say - there is a *lot* of screaming on this show. Watching it late at night makes me wonder what the neighbors must be thinking. *g*
Teen Wolf is basically the same kind of hilarious, endearingly bad crack as TVD, in a slightly different flavor. Definitely not to be taken seriously, or watched with expectations of any kind… although in contrast to TVD, TW has a sense of humor! And the guys take any excuse to get naked. Always a plus. ;-)
6 - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom? My longest intensely fannish phase was probably in my very first slash-writing fandom: X-Files. Taking my first and last stories as ( ... )
