First Day on the Job

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. I was excited about starting, so it took me a while to even get tired. Then, despite wearing earplugs to bed, I heard the new people in the apartment above me moving around (walking, opening and closing doors, flushing, etc.)...at 3:30 in the morning

Swag and free coffee. It's what makes work worth going to. And they come around the cube farm once a week and water the mushrooms. They don't want us getting too much sunlight or realizing that there is life beyond The Company. Welcome to corporate America. :)
