Kim Sam Soon is a great drama to start with. A few episodes are still on youtube but check out dramafever for the entire series. Problem is, it isn't translated very well; it ducks into Engrish territory a bit and that might hurt the language acquisition. Coffee Prince and IRIS are other superb kdramas, and I am liking God of Study (check most of these out through dramacrazy.net).
