As you can see from my tweets, I have begun a torrid love affair with KPop. I don't know why it took so long, really, but holy shit. I loves it.
This is a good reason why:

Also, I still can't get the "language feeling" of Korean. I characterized it earlier as "The French of Asia" (or is French the Korean of Europe?) or "A more English-friendly Japanese", but I really have no idea. I don't know why I can't seem to put the sounds together. Maybe I need to watch a bunch of KDrama rather than listen to just music. Actually, now that I think about it, that makes total sense. Anybody got any recs?
Don't get me wrong. I think Japanese and I are in for the long haul. We've just got an open relationship going on. There have been many other languages in my life, but Japanese is the one I make waffles for on Tuesday mornings.
