Coming out of the doctor today, we saw a very clean-cut, respectable, middle-aged black couple get into a car the valet brought. The license plate said, "RULE 34." I know I had heard/read about Rule 34, but I had forgotten. So L looked it up and found the comic linked to in this sentence ( Read more... )

That's...amazingly awesome. I wonder if they own a porn site!

The only other explanation for that plate that I can think of is Robert's Rules of Order #34: Postpone Indefinitely. Good for a procrastinator....

Hmm, I didn't know that was 34. (I learned parlimentary procedure in model UN in high school and college, and I htink the rules are essentially identical, but I don't know them by number for either system.) I suppose it's possible that's what the guy meant. It's funny that way, but WAY less interesting. I'm going to tell myself it's the porn thing.
