[ This is a very tired, depressed Haseo, sitting on the edge of the fountain. He's the perfect picture of someone who's not sure what to do with himself right now. Atoli's still kidnapped, and now, Luke's gone home. Having her missing is bad enough... but Luke was always a big part of the reason he was okay here

[ Well, there's someone he's met before-and, having spotted him, Allen isn't really the type to just let it go. He approaches carefully-sometimes people just need to be left alone, after all. ]

Haseo?

[reversedarkness]

[ Haseo glances up a little and notices Allen. He mumbles a greeting. ]

[outwalks]

[ See Allen. See Allen head over to sit with him, though not too close. ]

Are you all right?

[reversedarkness]

Nn... a friend of mine went home.

[outwalks]

That seems to be happening a lot lately. . .

Do you mind having company, then?

[reversedarkness]

[ He thinks about it a moment. ]

No, guess not. Might be a good thing, right now...

[outwalks]

[ In that case, Allen'll just be leaning back on his hands, letting silence drift in for a bit. Then- ]

Is there any reason that you came out here?

[reversedarkness]

[ He shrugs his shoulders. ]

I guess it's kind of calming here.

[outwalks]

-ah, that's true, isn't it? I hadn't noticed.

It can't be very peaceful, though.

[reversedarkness]

It kind of is... I tune a lot of the people going by out.

[outwalks]

I suppose that would make it easier.

[ But that's a bit of a dead end: Haseo doesn't seem all that willing to talk, and Allen's perfectly amenable to staying quiet if he is. ]

[reversedarkness]

[ He nods. ]

It makes most things in this place easier... learning to ignore things.

[ He's pretty good with being quiet right now, at least for a while. ]

[outwalks]

[ Silence it is! He's got his own things to think about, at any rate, but hopefully even quiet company helps. ]
