Suprise twist to bring in Mozzie, storage units, and Neal's own paintings!. Great story to read, especially as the plot has been carefully thought out and planned. Looking forward to another great chapter.

Thank you! This was actually the second plotline I came up with regarding the forgery - and Mozzie fit so well. It all fell together so perfectly, so I'm glad you like it so far.

Neal is definitely not the only one who has tears running down his face right now *sniffle ( ... )

Awww... *hands over tissue* You really have to thank my beta - she took the figurative red pen to the flashback because she wanted it to be perfect. It was such a hard scene to write, because I could only imagine the pain and the rollercoaster of emotions one would feel in the situation and at the same time I knew eventually he would be accepting and in a good place.

You hit it dead on - it's a very hard time for Neal to be so dependent. He's never been that way - and I never wanted Neal to be seen as depressed by it, at least in the future. He will be strong and independent and overcome it.

Oh, yes... he's going to be a great Dad. I have SO much planned in my head - a lifetime really. I hope to share at least some of it.

As for Neal and Peter... more to come. They have a lot to talk through. A LOT.

Anyway... so glad you liked it! Thanks for a lovely review.

I love the reunion between Peter & Neal. I was wondering what Mozzie has been up to since Neal "died" so it was a nice twist to see that he is involved in the forgery case. :)

Looking forward to your next chapter. : )

Yay, thanks! There is a lot more to the Peter and Neal reunion coming. They have A LOT to get off their chests.

And yes... Mozzie. It was just too perfect to bring him into all of this. We'll see him later!

Really, really loved this. The emotion you describe here is truly deep, raw and real. It's nice to see that Neal has mostly adjusted to this life. Love the fact that he has a daughter and a son on the way ( ... )

Oh, thank you so much! This fic - for all the plot that's there - it's really about the characters. Especially Neal and Peter. I'm so happy to hear you think it's close to canon, because it's hard not to project what we want of them. There's SO much distrust, yet they are the strongest of friends. It's a hard thing to get over. When I came up with the idea of WitSec, I knew I had to make Neal's death believable because Peter would suspect otherwise. I hated to do that to him and everyone else, but there's cause not to trust Neal, unfortunately. Now we get to reunite them though, and they have to work through the pain. It's going to be a rollercoaster.

WitSec was definitely a hard decision for them but ultimately the only one. It's exactly what Keller tried to warn a couple eps ago. Neal didn't want Gregory to hurt his friends and family, so he made the sacrifice. (I'm really hoping that doesn't play out on the show!)

...and Mozzie. I had to include him. :D
