Yay! This came out well and I really love some of the subtle little changes. Oh, this is minor but, "Imperioed," should be "Imperiused." That insignificant bit aside, this was great and I cannot WAIT to read the next part. You and your freakin' cliff hangers!
Oh, and please tell me that you have that Peter fic because I just had to replace my hard drive and I lost everything.
(1) Peter and his stupidity are safe and half edited, I'll do that now. (2) Actually, let me fix the incorrect verb first. (3) Thanks for your help, you're a freakin' rock star. (4) I might send you what I've got I've ten now, since I'm completely and totally uninspired with it.
(1) Thank Merlin! An Obliviated MacBook is terrible. I'm hoping that Time Capsule was set up correctly and I have some stuff left, but I will not know until I get home tomorrow. Otherwise every picture I've taken, document I've saved, and word I have written in the past year is gone.
Oh what a chapter! I'm so sad Remus left and so glad he went back! But oh! Watching him go around the house and seeing how depressed Sirius is (sleeping under the cot, walking to the grave) was just heartbreaking!
And the ending? Oh god, I can't wait for the next part!
It doesn't end, does it? No it doesn't, it can't, because. Just. Just because.
You know you amaze me by your boldness to actually turn DD into a deatheater. It's really fascinating, and what I loved the most was how easily DD actually fitted into that role... especially as you used the word "cooed", it gave me shivers. Very complex and wonderful.
Now I can't wait what the next part's going to be like, naturally, and I'm friending you back now to keep track of that it's just freaking bloody awesome, I don't know how often I still need to say that.
And oh, I admit it, I'm glad he chose Remus. You totally convinced me of this- if even Sirius WAS a selfish brat, this is who he is, it's like he can't like without Remus. I love their bond, the depth of it. And the trueness about it. You rock, again, verily so.
I couldn't kill Remus. I just couldn't... I can kill Dumbles, happily, however. I hate the man. More to come, I promise. It's giving me fits, right now, but it's coming!
I don't particularly dislike DD, but I wasn't THAT fond of him either. And I can SO understand about not wanting to kill Remus.
I'm happy you go on writing :) And thank you for taking the time to answer all of my comments, that was really sort of surprising, but in a positive way ;).
