wow. i was supposed to be asleep forever ago.. but i couldn't stop reading! this was pretty fantastic. stupid gwen... so selfish. and thinking that she understand's jack... heh. i love the interplay between jack and ianto.. all of the little touches. the small gestures in the middle of everything just to remind each other that they're still there. nothing overt... i love it. and ianto.. so efficient... ooh i think this was absolutely brilliant. nicely done! honestly, i kinda wish there wwas more to it!

great idea for an alien too.... :)

I absolutely loved it! Such a great way to portray the parts of cases we don't normally get to see. I really loved the Jack/Ianto dynamic as well. The only thing I'm slightly disappointed about is that we don't get to see Gwen's punishment from Jack... but it was wonderful characterization of her.. .thinking that Jack would just let her off in the end. It was a wonderfully written story! Thanks so much for sharing. ^_^

In all honestly, I think Jack will let her off the hook. When I was writing I wanted to see her punished, but it just won't happen. Thanks so much!

That was totally brilliant! I loved the quiet interplay between Jack and Ianto. Gwen - wow - spot on! I salute you cos I just can't get her right! Tosh and Owen were spot on too. Amazing story that had me glued to my screen. :D xxx

Thank you so much! She's hard to write, I agree. I feel like a complete moron while trying to get her voice down... but it's the only way her actions make sense!

Fantastic story! I could believe Gwen thinking that she was the only one with a heart on the team, and that Jack couldn't possibly live with Ianto, and that Jack always let her off any punishment. To me, Gwen comes across in the show as very self-centered and you portrayed that very well. Like the other characterisations as well.

I'm with babukoan - a sequel with Gwen's punishment is definitey in order!!

I wish it were the case, but I think Gwen gets away with it. Honestly, she has resulted in the death of many people and no one has ever said anything. I think Jack will look the other way again... Thanks for reading!
