Sleepless, I must draw attention to something that happened to me at work on Tuesday. Some woman came in with her blouse (hanger, light starch), seeming rather disgruntled. I'm trying to decide if the first week of vacation has been horrible, or if it's been magnificent. I'm going to spell out every single thing that has happened since 12:45 last Wednesday, maybe then I'll be able to decide.

I quite simply adore the night. The temperature is perfect, and apart from the chirping of 10,000 crickets, everything is lovely. The weather was actually lovely today -- a nice little aberration. The temperature reached the high 50s, something it hasn't done since mid-October. I need a lot more time to study for my history test on Thursday. Tomorrow is going to be kind of hellish because I have to go to work. I can't think of any time I'll be able to read the two chapters the test is on within the next twenty four hours.
