I'm sitting in animation, and i realized something about myself that i've never really been able to admit before. I realized that i am incredibly pompous. There are a lot of things that i try incredibly hard to do well, but inevitably fail at. Thus, those things that i do well once in a while become my only point of focus for self motivation and

Don't you dare crucify yourself like that, you are not an asshole. You are more sensetive than most people, and you are alittle worried about doing well enough, as a result of living in a very upwardly mobile competitive area and living with your mom (who would make anyone alittle worried about doing well enough). You are doing fine. You are a kind, gentle person, probably not perfectly suited to showbiz or heavy competition, but very well suited to people out of highschool (IE ADULTS)and friendship. don't hurt yourself like this.

I was going to try and reassure you, but that pretty much covered it. You're totally self-sacrificing and humble, and you never put yourself above anyone else. Plus, you're one of the best listeners I've ever met. I really hope we're okay now, cause I missed your humor.

he's right gabe. if you read my last journal entree, its just you and lara. and guess who i feel more comfortable with. hmm..yeah, you. There's a reason. you are one of the greatest friends. all around. You have no idea how precious our friendship is to me. if you're going to pride yourself on anything, pride yourself on you as a friend. your friendships are priceless. and gabe, you are such an ass, that you have comforted me in every situation i've come to you for, or not come to you for. you've made me tea, and made me laugh. you've been there for support, and given me helpful criticism, when i needed it or didn't want it (but needed it). you are sensitive, and being sensitive is one of your great qualities. It just makes the great you, an even better great you.(too many adj.). From friend to friend, please, realize that these qualities far surpass many other people. And be proud of it, cause im proud of you for it.

mr. lipson. i am telling you now, that i am continuously amazed by your writing skills. you are incredible. As for what you wrote, you are not self obsorbed like you think. Or, whatever the word was you said. You have your moments of "hey look at me....hey wait, hey look at me...hey, uh..look at me!", but we all do. I do notice it sometimes, but it doesnt bother me. We all have moments of "hey hey hey!!!" its normal. As for the comedy. You are, in my eyes, and in all honesty, a lot more funny when you're not trying to be. but that's okay. That is the main reason i never played a game in 2 years of being on the team. im just not good on the spot. i know you're funny. i've heard you and been with you. you kindof get unsure when you're on the spot. maybe i just notice it because i know you, and i can tell when you're uncomfortable in a situation most of the time. plus, there is nothing wrong with priding yourself in something. Its human nautre, and what the hell, it makes us feel good. so chin up sir. Cause you've got me to deal with if
