I do miss Revenant Angel, Professor Chaos, and Five Knuckle Shuffle.

I do not miss the grinding.

Embrace the darkness, for it brings happiness...and much beatdowns.

You don't like grinding?

You play World of Warcraft!

The initial grind sucks, but if you really must, there are so many "farm" teams running in Grandville you can level uber-quickly.

Accepting a quest, literally turning around on the spot, and handing it in does not constitute grinding.

Plus, WoW has lore...and I dig the lore.

..and CoH/CoV actually has mission arcs and story arcs for those of us who bother to read them.

There is plenty of grinding in WoW... maybe not at the higher levels, but I know plenty of folks (myself included) who wasted hours grinding for materials, or grinding for rare dungeon drops. Not to mention the endless hours of kill kill kill to get to the next level so you can get your mount, etc, etc.

Maybe we different ideas as to what grinding means. But the bigger the world, the more boring stuff there is to do too.

:)

But to each his own.
