The initial grind sucks, but if you really must, there are so many "farm" teams running in Grandville you can level uber-quickly.

There is plenty of grinding in WoW... maybe not at the higher levels, but I know plenty of folks (myself included) who wasted hours grinding for materials, or grinding for rare dungeon drops. Not to mention the endless hours of kill kill kill to get to the next level so you can get your mount, etc, etc.
Maybe we different ideas as to what grinding means. But the bigger the world, the more boring stuff there is to do too.

I'm also sure CoX has changed in the year and a half since I played it. There was definitely some story there, but the WoW lore is so much deeper and capturing in my opinion.
Still, if WoW's customization was HALF of what CoX has, I'd have a geek-gasm.
