I’ve been trying to figure out what to say here and now for a while, but I’m still not sure if there is anything I can truly say. So please bear with me as I try and make myself heard by answering the questions I can see being asked in the best way I can. I know there will still be far more that I haven’t answered, but this is what I can give at

It sounds harsh to say I suspected it was coming, but I did and I am sorry it did because it is such a horrible thing to happen to two such great people but these things do happen.

We talked a lot about this before you left - even had a fight about it at one stage I think.

You are first and foremost a gentleman and an honourable soul - this reflects that.

I am proud to call you friend.

I can tell you one thing - After you've dated someone for a long time, it's easy to feel as though you're not in love with them anymore, as the initial spark dies down somewhat. The two of you become very aware of everything about eachother and it's difficult to find flames. That said, I would urge you to make sure that you've made the right choice in what you've decided, it would be awful for you to realise that you made a wrong move too late.

I know what you're going through, I've been there myself and in my case, I realised I had made the mistake and thought that I was no longer in love, but I actually was.

Either way, best of luck with your journey of self discovery and I hope that you find what you're looking for bud!
