Have you ever read pickup artist (PUA) materials? I think they're on the right track in a lot of ways. Browsing the forums and reading stuff like this http://www.amazon.com/Mystery-Method-Beautiful-Women-into/dp/1400134110 could provide a lot of insight.

Yes, back in the day when they were a bunch of kids posting on USENET I read through Maniac High's text files and a number of other PUAs.

My impression is that you seem opposed to the PUA ideas. Is that correct? I think that generally they're on the right track.

Sadly, a lot of the pick up artist stuff does really work. However, I don't think it works for long term relationships. I think it's great for nailing a one-night-stand, but not so good for anything longer term.

The truth really is that there are a lot of women who respond positively to someone breaking down their esteem.

Similarly, I've proven over and over that the worst thing a woman can do if a guy seems somewhat interested is to express interest back. The best way to totally clinch something with a lot of men is to never, ever, ever give them the slightest hint that you're interested.

It's amazing that we ever procreate...
