Thanks, Frank! ...and a very Happy 25th Birthday to you!!! I have only been on LJ for just over 20 years, but I love this place! I have made some great friends here, and learned a lot about the world in the process. Besides that it has been a place where I can document my life and share my thoughts and feelings.

So, Cheers to LJ! and thanks for being!

'only 20 years'... That' quite a term, too! So we've walked most of our journey together.

Thanks for all the kind words, and thanks for staying with us!

Hugs!

Thanks, Jon! It was a very enjoyable visit. I have never eaten in so many restaurants in a weekend!

Thanks for the compliment on Joan's parlor! I am still very proud of that project more than 40 years later. :-)

I love the old buildings! They have so much more to offer than new structures. :-)

Joan's house is so lovely! Those wonderful high ceilings, and that gorgeous cornice. I wish I lived in a 19th century property...

And I love your eclipse-as-a-social-event photos. Thank you!

Thank you! More than 40 years after restoring Joan's house, I am still very proud of the job we did. I had to learn plaster casting to repair damage to some of those cornices.

LOL! I was not expecting that seeing the eclipse would be a social event, but it certainly turned out to be one! I'm glad that you enjoyed my post! :-)
