I've been trying to get my Elizabeth an Elizabethan gown for a long time. Where'd you find yours? Know a good seamstress? I really wanna bite the bullet, spend the fortune, and get the dress QE1 won in her portrait after the Spanish armada was defeated made. I got Elizabet's Elizabethan gown during AngelRegion's Anniversary Promotion. They had "gift bags" for SD Girls that was $100, but you didn't know what you were really getting other than that it was worth over $220. I was pleasantly surprised when the dress arrived. The only downside is that the entire dress is made of red silk, which has already stained her underskirts, so the dress cannot be worn for too long or it may stain the resin of the doll.

I don't know if AngelRegion will be doing anymore promotions, but I know that Cheerydoll has some lovely period pieces, and so does Luts.
